This mount is made well, but the GPS doesn’t fit tight enough in the mounting ring. The GPS stays in the mount, but has more wiggle room then the original mount that came with my TomTom.

Great for moving from vehicle to vehicle, no marks on the glass, very simple to hide the mount and the gps as one piece. Also works for magellan, just remove the tomtom adapter. great product

THIS is what I’ve been looking for!!! I didn’t want to mount my TomTom on the windshield. The cup holders in my car are not in the right position to use a cup holder mount. Visor mounts put the unit in a inconvenient location. Bean-bag mounts are effective but are bulky….I was running out of ideas on how to mount my GPS when I found this. It hasn’t yet gone for a road trip but I’ve tried plugging it into my car and into my husband’s truck and it it can be adjusted to a convenient viewing location in both vehicles. Looks like it is going to work out great for a fraction of the price that the other mounts are going for. This also eliminates the need to carry the car charger with me. I think this one is a keeper!
